Speakers Forum

The purpose of this series is to bring together central Minnesota’s business leaders and create a networking platform where participants can exchange ideas, discuss common challenges, and create new opportunities.
   
Program Objectives
  • Provide a forum targeted specifically at and for central Minnesota executives, entrepreneurs, and Anderson Center program Alumni

  • Create a consistent, quality networking opportunity for central Minnesota executives and entrepreneurs

  • Bring to central Minnesota, for the purpose of growth and education, highly recognized entrepreneurs to speak at the luncheons

Upcoming Speaker: Paul Douglas, May 5, 2010

Paul Douglas is a nationally respected meteorologist, with 29 years of broadcast television and 33 years of radio experience. He has also written for the Star Tribune , and has authored two books, Prairie Skies, the Minnesota Weather Book, and Restless Skies, the Ultimate Weather Book. He founded a software venture called EarthWatch Communications and Digital Cyclone, Inc (DCI), which is personalizing the weather forecasting experience for individuals on the web, e-mail and cell phones. He is also Founder and CEO of WeatherNation, which produces and disseminates daily weather feeds.

Program Schedule
The Speakers Forum will hold three luncheons annually; in Fall, Winter, and Spring. Luncheons will be held:
     Time: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm
     Venue: Best Western Kelly Inn
